ANAC PREPARA ROTEIRO PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DO TRANSPORTE AÉREO NA ÁFRICA CENTRAL

Nos dias 14 e 15 de Outubro de 2024, em Luanda, nas instalações da Autoridade Nacional da Aviação Civil da República de Angola (ANAC), abordou-se o roteiro para acelerar o desenvolvimento dos transportes aéreos na África Central.



The main objective of the meeting was to identify the main specific obstacles that negatively affect the development of air transport in the region and to draw up a clear roadmap to accelerate the development of the civil aviation sector in Central Africa in terms of services, specific tasks of the consultant and expected results, as well as drawing up proposals for measures to be applied at regional or national level in the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) area.

Various topics were discussed, such as competition regulations, access conditions to the national air transport market and the application of the Yamoussoukro Decision; the granting of the 5th Freedom of the Air (including the solemn commitment to join MUTAA - and the immediate measures to apply the solemn declaration); the status of the implementation of the ATConf/6 recommendations on air connectivity (6th ICAO World Air Transport Conference in March 2013); the status of the implementation of the Declaration and Framework of Action of African Countries for the Development of Aviation Infrastructure in Africa (adopted by the 3rd ICAO World Air Transport Conference in March 2013); the status of the implementation of the Declaration and Framework of Action of African Countries for the Development of Aviation Infrastructure in Africa (adopted by the 3rd ICAO World Air Transport Conference in March 2013); and the status of the implementation of the Declaration and Framework of Action of African Countries for the Development of Aviation Infrastructure in Africa (adopted by the 3rd ICAO World Air Transport Conference in March 2013). The status of the Declaration and Framework for Action by African Countries for the development of aviation infrastructure in Africa (adopted by the 3rd ICAO World Air Transport Conference in March 2013). The meeting is being hosted by ANAC's Director of Economic Regulation, Dr. Manuel Da Rosa and the Head of Mission and Senior Advisor for Civil Aviation, Boubacar Djibo, DNA-BT, DSFA, DAIA, DLPACF Directors and stakeholders from the civil aviation sector.
Angola, the "Champion State for interregional air connectivity”, a title awarded by the African Civil Aviation Commission (CAFAC), continues to increase the actions and speed necessary for the industry at regional and continental level to act as a catalyst of development.
