The National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) began the second edition of training on the Civil Aviation Master Plan (CAMP), the acronym in English Civil Aviation Master Plans, at the BAI Academy, in Luanda, from the 1st to the 5th of July this year year and aims to equip senior and intermediate managers at ANAC and other stakeholders in the civil aviation sector with the skills necessary for the development of CAMP. ANAC's PCA, Dr. Amélia Domingues Kuvíngua, on the occasion, addressed words of circumstance to the participants, thanking and emphasizing that ‘’alone we go faster, but only together, strong and united, will we go further in achieving the objectives of the sector and the country’’ Due to its transversal nature and importance, the training action is given by the expert and instructor from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Fernando Coelho, to fifteen (15) participants, including ten (10) ANAC and industry managers, three (3) from the Airport Management Company (SGA) and two (2) from the National Air Navigation Company (ENNA). The training includes content that will enable participants to develop, implement and update a Civil Aviation Master Plan, in alignment with the National Development Plan and in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals defined by the United Nations for 2030, in addition to certification of validity and international prestige endorsed by ICAO, within the scope of the ambitious TRAINAIR PLUS program. To implement the second edition of this training action, ANAC counted on the institutional and strategic collaboration of ENNA, through the Aeronautical Instruction Center (CAI). The first edition was held in Luanda, in 2023, with the sponsorship of the Chinese Embassy in Angola, within the scope of South – South cooperation.
