ANAC ATTENDS OACI'S FIRST GLOBAL SUMMIT ON AIR CARGO

The National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) is taking part in the First Global Air Cargo Summit from 9th to 11th April 2025, organised by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) in Antalya, Turkey.



The main aim of the event is to promote a collaborative approach to tackling the sector's challenges with a view of improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the air cargo operating environment.

The Summit brings together the main players in the air cargo sector, including regulators, airlines, freight forwarders, airport operators, academic institutions and strategic partners from United Nations agencies such as ICAO and the World Customs Organisation. The participation of the General Secretary of the African Civil Aviation Commission (CAFAC), Adefunke Adeyemi, is also noteworthy. Angola is represented by a delegation from ANAC, led by the Operations Administrator, Manuel Dantas Gonçalves. 

With this initiative, ICAO aims to promote a fruitful environment for dialogue with strategic partners in order to address issues and opportunities in the air cargo sector.
